Privacy Policy

What this site itself collects

This site does not require an account, does not collect your name or email to use any calculator, and does not run its own server-side database of your activity. Everything you enter into a calculator — your inputs, results, and calculation history — is processed and stored entirely in your own browser (using IndexedDB, a browser-local storage technology), and is never transmitted to us or any server. Clearing your browser data removes it completely; we have no copy.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand overall site usage — which pages are visited, how often, and general technical information like browser type and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors personally. See Google's Privacy Policy for how Google itself handles this data.

Google AdSense

This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, in order to show ads that may be more relevant to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info. Full detail on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, including AdSense, is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message by a Google-certified consent management platform before cookies are used for personalised advertising or measurement, as required by Google’s EU user consent policy. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings control the message provides.

Razorpay (voluntary support/donations)

The optional "Support the Project" page uses Razorpay to process voluntary donations. If you choose to donate, your payment details are entered directly on Razorpay's own secure checkout page — this site never receives, sees, or stores your card, UPI, or other payment details. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy for how they handle that data.

Cookies, generally

Cookies on this site come from the third-party services described above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) rather than from code we write ourselves. You can block or delete cookies through your browser's own settings at any time; doing so may affect how ads are personalized but will not prevent you from using any calculator on this site.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for engineering professionals and students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
